How we use your data
We’ll use your data to:
- contact you
- follow our legal and regulatory obligations as administering authority of the Fund
- perform statistical and financial analysis to inform our investment decisions and actuarial analysis
- address queries from members and resolve disputes concerning the Fund
- provide annual statements and other information about your benefits
- prevent fraud in relation to your pension benefits
- monitor the quality of our services to you and train our staff in best practice
- test calculation updates, find software faults, and test new software functionality
- conduct day-to-day pension administration tasks in relation to your benefits. For example, benefit calculations and eligibility assessments.
To manage the data for Cambridgeshire Pension Fund, we’ve a shared service agreement between Cambridgeshire County Council and West Northamptonshire Council. We’ll only share the data necessary to be able to process your pension.
Sometimes, we’ll share your personal data with third parties like:
- our contractors
- our advisors
- government and regulatory bodies
- dispute resolution agencies
- insurers
- law enforcement agencies. For example, the police for the detection and prevention of crime.
