Your pension statement

You get a statement every year to tell you how much pension you have. Your statement will be different depending on whether you’re still paying into the LGPS or not. You may have more than one LGPS pension. It’s possible you’re paying into one and no longer paying into the other or others.

If you’re still paying into your pension through your pay, we call this your ‘active pension’. If you’ve stopped paying into a pension and haven’t retired yet we call this your ‘deferred pension’.
