Earlier LGPS regulations
Sometimes earlier LGPS regulations will be used because:
- they are referenced by the current regulations or
- you need to apply them to past LGPS members who left when they were still in force.

LGPS 1 April 2008 – 31 March 2014
- Local Government Pension Scheme (Benefits, membership and contributions) regulations 2007 (as amended)
- Local Government Pension Scheme (Administration) regulations 2008
- Local Government Pension Scheme (Transitional provisions) regulations 2008 (as amended)
- For councillor members – Local Government Pension Scheme regulations 1997.

LGPS Before 1 April 1998
