Welcome to our new website
We’ve listened to your feedback. We’ve made our website easier to use and find things. We hope you like it!
One stop shop
You told us you used both the members and employers websites. With the new website we put all the information so you can get to it from the same place. The main content about a topic is featured on the website for both members and employers and anything a member doesn’t need to see is kept in the employers hub.
Employers hub
For information that’s not relevant for members, we’ve put in a password protected area that’s just for employers. Here we show you how to:
- pay your contributions
- send us your members data
- write your discretions policy
- work out pensionable pay
- deal with new starters and leavers
- and how best to get in touch.
You’ll still be able to get access to iConnect and pay your contributions in the same way.
Helping you and your members find information
When we did a review of our websites, you told us that:
- information was hard to find and
- you needed help as you weren’t pension experts.
We’ve introduced a ‘Popular topics’ area on our home page. This gives you quick links to our most frequent requests. And the menus at the top of the page open to make it easy to jump straight to the information you’re looking for. Or why not try our improved search functionality.
Life events
Our new ‘Life events’ section is to encourage members to think about their pension at different stages in their life. For example, if they’re moving home, getting married, or changing jobs, there’s some actions they need to take with their pension.
Who does what
Members told us they weren’t always clear on who did what at certain stages of the pensions process. We’ve tried to write our information so it’s clear when it’s members, employers or us that needs to do something. Like retirement for example.
Support
We understand that pensions can seem complicated, which is why we’ve tried to use language that’s easy to understand. We’ve also created a
- forms and guides page for employers
- page on ill health retirements to help you follow the correct process
- training section to book on to a webinar or check out resources from previous courses.
To help you help your members we’ve a ‘Support’ section that has:
- ‘Pension made simple’ videos
- pension guides
- help on getting a pensions estimate.
