When you must contact us

This page is for employer queries. If you have a member query, please use the members contact us page.

You’ll need to tell us as soon as possible if you:

  • plan to leave the scheme
  • change payroll providers or employee payroll/post references
  • plan to transfer under TUPE regulations eligible LGPS employees to a new employer. For example:
    • outsourcing
    • merger/takeover
    • academy conversion or moving trusts
    • local government reorganisation
  • if your members details change, for example:
    • address
    • surname
    • relationship status
    • change of hours or change in contractual weeks per year paid
    • breaks in pensionable employment – family leave, maternity, adoption, unpaid leave etc
    • strike action
    • reservist leave

Please fill in a Change of circumstances form or an Unpaid leave form.
